(3 - 6) Yrs

Creative Movement (3 - 5 yrs): For our youngest dancers, Creative Movement explores the foundational movement patterns of young dancers while encouraging creativity and fun.  Dancers must be toilet trained to register for this class. 

Thursdays 4:15-5:00pm / Saturdays 9:00-9:45am

Pre-Ballet (5 - 7 yrs): For our young dancers ready for a slightly more structured class and the introduction of more ballet terminology and shapes with new balance and coordination challenges. 

Wednesdays 4:30-5:15pm / Saturdays 9:45-10:30am 

 

Pre-Ballet with Tap (5 - 7 yrs): Splitting class time between ballet (25min.) and tap (25min.), this class is for our young dancers who are ready for a more structured class that introduces more ballet terminology and shapes with new balance and coordination challenges. In tap, students will focus on discovering rhythms and making sounds with their feet. But most importantly, dancers will get the opportunity to make a lot of noise! 

  Tuesdays 4:10-5:00pm / Saturdays 9:10-10:00am

 

pre-teens

(7 - 12) Yrs

Ballet 1 (7 - 9 yrs): Learn the fundamentals of ballet. Dancers will be introduced to the barre and explore across the floor patterns and dances to keep their creativity and artistry building along with their strength and flexibility.  

  Thursdays 6:15-7:15pm / Saturdays 9:00-10:00am 

Jazz 1 (7 - 9 yrs): Learn the fundamentals and basics of jazz including stretching, balance, and core work. Dancers will learn across the floor progressions. 

Tuesdays 6:15-7:15pm / Thursdays 5:15-6:15pm 

Tap 1 (7 - 9 yrs): Learn the fundamentals and basics of tap. Dancers will learn across the floor progressions and focus on rhythm and balance. 

 Tuesdays 5:00-6:00pm / Saturdays 10:00-11:00am

 

Ballet 2 (8 - 10 yrs):  This class is for students who have had at least one year of ballet classes. Dancers will explore more challenging turn and jump progressions and continue their technical development. Dancers in this level may choose to take class 2x a week. 

Mondays 5:30-6:30pm / Tuesdays 4:15-5:15 / Thursdays 5:15-6:15pm / Saturdays 12:00-1:00pm

Jazz 2 (8 - 10 yrs):  This class is for students who have an understanding of the basics of jazz. Focus will be on flexibility, progressions, and learning short variations. 

Tuesdays 5:15-6:15pm / Thursdays 5:15-6:15pm 

Tap 2 (8 - 10yrs):  This class is for students who have an understanding of the basics of tap. Focus will be on learning small variations and routines. This level introduces Musical Theatre Tap style. 

Mondays 4:15-5:15pm / Saturdays 11:00am-12:00pm 

Ballet 3 (10 - 13 yrs): This class focuses on building strength and technique as our pre-pointe level. A dancer's physical development, strength, and maturity determines their readiness for pointe shoes. Dancers in this level are required to take class at least twice a week. Cross training with a jazz or tap class is highly encouraged. 

Mondays 4:15-5:30pm / Wednesdays 4:15-5:30pm / Saturdays 10:30-11:45am 

Jazz 3 (10 - 13 yrs): This class will challenge dancers with more intermediate steps. Students will also get the opportunity to learn choreography from well-known Broadway shows. 

Mondays 5:30-6:30pm / Wednesdays 5:30-6:30pm / Saturdays 1:00-2:00pm 

Tap 3 (10 - 13 yrs): This class is for students who have had at least one year of tap classes and focuses on more intermediate and challenging steps. Students will also get to learn routines from beloved Broadway musicals. 

Mondays 6:30-7:30pm / Saturdays 12:00-1:00pm

(13 - 19) Yrs

 Aspire recommends a placement class for all students ages 13+ who are new to our school. Please email info@aspirekineticarts.com or call (206) 466-2258 to arrange your dancer's free placement class. 

 

Ballet 4 (13 - 15 yrs): Dancers in this level continue to explore intermediate to advanced technique and develop their artistic voice. Dancers in this level are required to take technique class at least twice a week in addition to a pointe class (for those dancers en pointe). Cross training with a jazz or tap class is highly encouraged. Wednesdays' Ballet Barre class focuses on barre strength and technique.

 Tuesdays 7:15-8:45pm / Wednesdays barre 7:45-8:30pm / Thursdays 6:15-7:45pm / Saturdays 10:30am-12:00pm 

Pointe 4 (13 - 15 yrs): For dancers in their first or second year of pointe, this class builds the foundational strength and technique for strong pointe work. 

 Thursdays 7:45-8:30pm 

Jazz 4 (13 - 15 yrs): This class focuses on speed and turning and jumping progressions. Dancers will be introduced to different styles and learn original choreography. 

 Tuesdays 6:00-7:15pm / Wednesdays 6:30-7:45 pm

Tap 4 (13 - 15 yrs): This class focuses on speed and technique for dancers who have had at least two years of tap classes. Students will be introduced to intermediate to advanced steps and will explore improv. 

 Wednesdays 5:15-6:30pm / Thursdays 7:15-8:30pm

Ballet 5 (16 - 19 yrs): Our highest level, dancers in this level are required to take technique class at least three times a week in addition to a pointe class (for those dancers en pointe). Cross training with a jazz or tap class is highly encouraged. Wednesdays' Ballet Barre class focuses on barre strength and technique.

Tuesdays 7:15-8:45pm / Wednesdays Barre 7:45-8:30pm / Thursdays 6:15-7:45pm / Saturdays 10:30am-12:00pm  

 

Pointe 5 (16 - 19 yrs): For dancers who have been en pointe for at least 2 years, this class moves to more challenging pointe work and explores pointe variations. 

 Thursdays 7:45-8:30pm 

Jazz 5 (16 - 19 yrs): Our highest level, students continue to hone their flexibility, progressions, dynamics, and explore improv and choreography. 

  Tuesdays 6:00-7:15pm / Wednesdays 6:30-7:45pm

Tap 5 (16 - 19 yrs): Our highest level, this class meets twice a week. Students will continue to hone their skills through improv and choreography. 

Wednesdays 5:15-6:30pm / Thursdays 7:15-8:30pm
